Fierce in the Schools (FITS), a division of Fierce, Inc., is dedicated to providing the education community with the tools to significantly differentiate the graduates of their schools by enlivening classrooms, improving learning outcomes, and enhancing students’ ability to navigate their lives, now and in the future, one conversation at a time. We provide educators and students with lifelong skills and tools transform the conversations, and ultimately the relationships, central to their success. The premise is that: “While no single conversation is guaranteed to change the trajectory of a career, a company, a relationship, or a life, any single conversation can.”
Taking Fierce programs to schools in sustainable, meaningful ways is integral to our unabashed vision to build a better world, one conversation at a time. Since Susan Scott is a former high school teacher, the idea of bringing these concepts to schools has long been a goal of Fierce; we have been formally working with schools since 2002.
Transforming schools into environments that actively model and teach foundational skills such as the ability to engage in rich conversations, improve relationships, and interrogate reality is central to equipping students with the skills they need to navigate their personal and professional lives.
